Что такое пилатес?

Пила́тес — система физических упражнений, которую разработал в 20 столетии Джозеф Пилатес. Тогда этот вид фитнеса не имел большой популярности, но в 21 веке он приобретает всё больший интерес. Сейчас сторонниками пилатеса стали уже свыше 10 миллионов человек во всем мире.

Пилатесом могут заниматься абсолютно все желающие, причем как в спортивном клубе, так и дома. Ни возраст, ни физическая форма, ни пол не играют здесь никакой роли. Приверженцы пилатеса утверждают, что возможность получить травму в этом виде тренировок минимальна.

При выполнении упражнений пилатеса включается и разум, и тело. Важно в пилатесе сочетать правильный дыхательный ритм и осознание того, что каждое упражнение так или иначе воздействует на определенную мышечную группу.

Пилатес требует особой концентрации над правильностью выполнения. Каждое упражнение выполняется очень плавно, медленно. Главную роль в пилатесе играет пресс, ему уделяется особое внимание. Джозеф Пилатес считал мышцы пресса электростанцией, так как энергия нашего тела находится прямо в этом центре. Спина и пресс – это каркас, который поддерживает тело в прямом положении.
Выполняя упражнения пилатеса, нужно очень внимательно следить за своей осанкой, и буквально через несколько занятий можно заметить, как правильная осанка автоматически сохраняется за пределами фитнес клуба.

Чтобы результат был ощутим, упражнения пилатеса необходимо выполнять регулярно, желательно 5 раз в неделю.
